Meet The Manager

Gavin Trerise is The Home Manager at Courtfield Lodge.

Gavin Trerise has nearly 25 years of experience working in social care. He started as a Care Assistant in a local Dementia home in Cornwall when he was 17 years old. Gavin progressed into the management side quickly, becoming an Assistant Manager at the age of 22. Gavin has also worked at different locations in Devon and Southport.
He processed his career and experience becoming a Registered Manager and aiding several homes, which CQC have rated “Good”, and “Outstanding” in Responsive.
Now at Courtfield Lodge, Gavin is looking forward to implementing the upcoming improvements to the home and supporting the team to constantly improve the experience for the residents, families and staff of Courtfield Lodge.

The home provides comfortable bedrooms, (52 singles and 9 twin/doubles). All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and WC’s.

The building is constructed on ground and first floors. The accommodation is well arranged with adequate sized rooms, corridors of a reasonable width and adequate provision of day rooms, bathrooms and WC’s.
The home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and adjoins a stream, a school, residential properties and playing fields.

The lovely gardens are mainly laid to lawn with shrubs and hedgerows to the boundary and a row of mature trees
