Our primary specialism is in dementia. There are over 100 variants of dementia, and we have residents with Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Korsakoff and other types of dementia.

Unfortunately, dementia in its more advanced stages can lead to residents displaying behavioural difficulties. This is why we have specialist EMI and Dementia Units, so we can accommodate most forms of diagnosis in a safe and appropriate environment.

We are seeing growing numbers of residents with diabetes and we can help to manage that diagnosis. Preparing and cooking food from a varied nutritional menu on site is important is an advantage in caring for residents with diabetes.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

There are various strict guidelines in place which we follow to the letter. These include the five KLOES - CQC standards, and bi-weekly LFTs for staff. The important point is that the Group provides mandatory in-house training and ongoing assessments to ensure that staff follow rules & regulations, and best practise, precisely.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
