Meet The Manager

Sophie Evans is Home Manager at Davers Court.

I have over 14 years of experience in the care sector, working my way up from a Care Assistant and I joined Care UK in 2016.

I’m passionate about working with the team to make Davers Court the very best it can be. Residents are happy and well cared for; it’s great when one of them wants to tell me about something they’ve enjoyed doing that day, because if they’re happy, we’re happy.

I love leading the team to provide the best possible care and support colleagues internally to be the best they can be and develop in the same ways I have over the years to reach their career goals.

It takes the right people to make a house a home and the Davers family are a true family home.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
