Meet The Manager

Crina Lee is General Manager at Derham House.

I qualified as a Nurse in 2003 and I have been working in the care sector for many years, gaining experience as Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager in various care settings.

I am proud to be leading the excellent team here. My vision for Derham House is for it to be a vibrant home for our residents, providing person-centered care and a welcoming environment. We will make sure residents are happy, safe and cared for like family.

I will always have time to chat about our home so please get in touch if you have any questions or suggestions.

Crina Lee

Upminster, Derham House has many natural advantages: plenty of local amenities yet within easy reach of London, Lakeside Shopping Centre and the beaches at Southend on Sea.

We provide high quality 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for people with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. Person-centred care plans are at the heart of our approach to care, forming a basis for care and activities and regularly reviewed with a named key worker.

Activities Are So Important

We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.
