Nicola Jones is CFO/ Registered Manager at A Class Care (Live in Care).
Nicky started off her career in care when she left school in 1991 and proceeded to college where she completed a Diploma in care.
Nicky had been an Auxiliary Nurse and a community carer for many years before she was asked to go to work in the office of a care company. Nicky's role started off as a care coordinator then progressed to a care manager.
During Nicky's career she has undertaken qualifications such as Nvq level 2,3,4 and 5.NCFE level 2 certificate in the principles of Dementia care, End of life care - Train the trainer, University of Tasmania Understanding Dementia, Essence of Palliative and End of life training, Respect - level 2 training.
August 2012 Nicky and Mercy Canning decided to open their own care company as they both held a passion for good quality care, this is where A Class Care was founded.
Live-In Care is a 24-Hour Care Service that operates 7 days a week and is provided within the familiar and comfortable surrounding of your own home. Our fully managed services in Cambridge and nearby offer you a more affordable and attractive alternative to Residential, Nursing or Care Home allowing you to maintain your independence at home and avoiding the trauma of upheaval to a care home.
A Class Care Cambridge (based in Waterbeach) retains a dedicated and fully trained care team that provides a bespoke 1-2-1 service. All our carers are appointed for their caring, compassionate and altruistic nature. Our dedicated Recruitment Team will ensure that all our carers have proven, demonstrable care experience and are trained to will follow an agreed care & support plan that is specifically built around the individual.
