Lynsey Collins is Head of Live in Care at Alcedo Care Southport (Live-in-Care).
I joined Alcedo Care after being a Registered Manager for a residential care home. Prior to working in health and social care I was working in the Funeral Industry for 16 years where I worked my way up from being a Funeral Director to a Care Centre Manager and was responsible for 21 funeral homes. I qualified as a funeral director in 2012 gaining my Diploma with the National Association of Funeral Directors. Having supported many families over 16 years at their most difficult time gave me the correct skill set to work in health and social care. I am extremely passionate about helping and supporting people which is something I have a strong passion for.
Alcedo Care are experts in the Homecare field and we understand that admitting or realising you may need help or support with day to day life can be a huge and sometimes life changing decision. As a Homecare provider, we at Alcedo Care take pride in our work and have huge respect for our carers and the work they do.
