Meet The Manager

Cristina Cristea is General Manager at Amherst House.

I am a registered general nurse with experience in acute cardiac care and learning disabilities. I joined the home in October 2016. I am a diabetes and falls prevention champion. I have proven clinical skills and an advanced knowledge which led to me being promoted. I pride myself on being resident focused and ensuring that all individuals we support are empowered to make choices and participate fully in the running of their home.

Amherst House is a beautiful, purpose-built care home set in the heart of Surrey. The dedicated team provides 24-hour nursing, dementia and residential care in luxurious surroundings.

The spacious, modern home is organised into four suites, each with its own dining room and lounge. The bedrooms in the Surrey home are designed to the highest of standards and each feature en-suite bathrooms. The home's exceptional facilities include a cinema, hair and beauty salon and a bright and spacious café. Four terraces are located on the upper floor, and landscaped sensory gardens outdoors include a bee and butterfly sanctuary.

The lifestyle team offer a varied activity programme including trips out to local areas of interest in the home's minibus.
