Roxanna has 30 years of experience in a care and nursing home setting, and is NVQ Level 7 accredited.

Aquarius Care Home is a substantial single storey building. It has been a care home for the past 32 years. It is located on the outskirts of Chatham in Kent with easy access to local transport and the M2/ A2/ M25 motorway network with Rochester Cathedral close by. At Aquarius Care Home, we cater for convalescent, post operative, end of life, those needing help with everyday living, those adults coping with dementia, adults with sensory impairment and a strong emphasis on person centered and individual needs.

Description

All 20 of our attractive rooms, most with ensuite facilities, are fitted with flat screen televisions, divan or nursing beds with standard mattresses or nursing mattresses depending on the residents needs. Bedroom furniture which is not clinical but befitting an elderly persons bedroom environment. The rooms can be personalized to suit individual tastes so that their room becomes a home from home.

Activities Are So Important

Social activities are organised on a daily basis such as bingo, movement to music, reminiscence, armchair exercises, puzzles, library access and seasonal activities are arranged during Christmas and Easter. We offer day centre facilities off site for those residents wishing to partake in this. The home has a substantial courtyard where gardening activities take place dependent on the season together with BBQ events in the summer. Regular residents and family meetings are held with the provider and registered manager so that opinions and views can be made openly.
