Meet The Manager

Surj Virk is Managing Director at Visiting Angels Warwickshire.

I have spent the majority of my adult working life in health and social care, travelling the UK providing support and guidance to a number of home care businesses. My career to date has seen me working in many management roles including recruitment, training, compliance, quality assurance, regional management and registered manager. I have seen some very good care provision and some not so good inspiring me to provide a high-quality service to my local community in Warwickshire.

I have seen the high turnover of care staff and the impact this has on the people receiving care, constantly being cared for by different people, not knowing who is going to turn up and how much they will know about the support that needs to be provided and unable to build any meaningful relationship with the caregivers. I want to provide a consistent, caring and safe service to the individuals we are supporting and this is why I joined Visiting Angels, to be carer centric!

How it works…
Quality care focuses on the needs of individuals and because we are all different it cannot be standardised. We take the time to understand you, your circumstances and individual care needs, then we tailor a care package to you. This is what makes our home carers stand out and shine compared to others.

Our Care Angels
Visiting Angels has been providing care across the world for 20 years. Our business has been built on recruiting, training and supporting the very best bespoke carers and enabling them to deliver premium quality care. We know that our carers are brilliant, loving, professional people doing amazing work. Our at home care workers come second to none.

Why we’re different
Too often care workers are under appreciated but at Visiting Angels we put carers at the centre of our business to make sure they can deliver a truly person-centred service to you. We look after our carers better so that they can look after you, this is why our home care services are top of the range. Elderly care, respite care and more – we can help you however you need.
