Meet The Manager

Linda Lovett is Manager at Ashbourne Care Home.

Situated in the Dibdale area of the historic market town of Dudley, Ashbourne Care Home delivers personalised residential, dementia and respite care with a strong sense of Black Country identity.

We’re proud of where we’re from, and many of our team have lived close by all their lives. We know that being greeted with a friendly “ow am ya?” each morning helps our residents maintain a sense of familiarity and family.

We think of our residents as family, which is why ensuring we provide choice and opportunities to be involved in all the important decisions is at the heart of everything we do.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Independent Assessments We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control.
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Our Building and Facilities

We love our outdoor areas, these are the perfect spots to relax or catch up with family and friends in the warmer months. Our dementia garden is a safe outside space with sensory plants and raised borders for our greenfingered residents. The main patio area offers views across our sweeping lawns, views which can also be enjoyed from our garden-view lounge and many of our bedrooms.

Who doesn’t love to indulge in some pampering?! Our residents eagerly anticipate their visits to our on-site hair and beauty salon. Weekly time slots with our skilled, visiting hairstylist are available. Professional hairdressing services involve an additional fee, and our home manager can provide you with the current rates. We also offer beauty sessions as part of our activity programme, which includes nail treatments and soothing hand massages.
