Situated in the Dibdale area of the historic market town of Dudley, Ashbourne Care Home delivers personalised residential, dementia and respite care with a strong sense of Black Country identity.

We’re proud of where we’re from, and many of our team have lived close by all their lives. We know that being greeted with a friendly “ow am ya?” each morning helps our residents maintain a sense of familiarity and family.

We think of our residents as family, which is why ensuring we provide choice and opportunities to be involved in all the important decisions is at the heart of everything we do.

Our Building and Facilities

We love our outdoor areas, these are the perfect spots to relax or catch up with family and friends in the warmer months. Our dementia garden is a safe outside space with sensory plants and raised borders for our green fingered residents. .

Who doesn’t love to indulge in some pampering?! Our residents eagerly anticipate their visits to our on-site hair and beauty salon. Weekly time slots with our skilled, visiting hairstylist are available. Professional hairdressing services involve an additional fee, and our home manager can provide you with the current rates. We also offer beauty sessions as part of our activity programme, which includes nail treatments and soothing hand massages.

Activities Are So Important

Staying active is so important and at Ashbourne Care Home, there is never a dull moment! It is the role of our Activities Co-ordinator to encourage residents to take part in group activities, such as gentle exercise, quizzes, crafts and enjoying live entertainment and music. We also spend quality one-to-one time with our residents concentrating on person-centred interests and hobbies.
