Joel Fronda Ignacio is Home Manager at Ayton House.
I believe it’s a privilege to care for older people, and I’m determined to deliver the very best for them as the Home Manager of Ayton House. I have a unique background – as well as being a Registered General Nurse, I also have degrees in Accounting and Finance.
Being a Home Manager draws on all the skills and training I’ve achieved over my career. You need to have an eye for the financial side while also being committed to delivering first-class care. People management skills are also essential, and a level of creativity is needed too. It’s a demanding job, but I relish every day – especially any time I can spend chatting to residents and learning about their lives and experiences.
I worked as the Home Manager of Care UK’s Ancasta Grove, based in Southampton, from 2022, and I’m extremely proud of the work the team does for residents there. I now look forward to the opportunity to continue this great work at Ayton House in the months and years ahead.
Delivering superb care in warm and welcoming surroundings is the focus of the experienced and dedicated team at Ayton House care home in Angmering.
The experienced and dedicated team at Ayton House provides residential and dementia care, as well as the most sensitive end-of-life care.
The focus at Ayton House is delivering superb, personalised care and a fulfilling lifestyle in beautiful surroundings. Each bedroom at Ayton House is light and spacious, individually decorated and beautifully furnished, and has its own en-suite wet room. The shared areas are special too, including a coffee shop, pub, cinema and hair and beauty salon – plus lovely gardens ideal for exploring.
