Meet The Manager

Andrea Layton is Care Home Manager at Barton Manor.

Andrea has had a passion for the Care Industry for over 20 years, beginning her journey as a Health Care Assistant on a ward at Peterborough District Hospital. Her passion extended to End-of-life care in the community when she worked nights in people's own homes, an experience she found to be an absolute honour.

She then found her way to a care home as a Team Leader and worked her way up to become Deputy Manager and then Manager.

Andrea's vision for Barton Manor Care Home is to give all its residents the highest-quality care in a beautiful, relaxing family atmosphere. The team she has recruited shares this vision. Their motto is 'We work in your home, you do not live in our work space.'

Barton Manor is a purpose-built five-star luxury care home in the beautiful market town of Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. Committed to providing excellent 24-hour residential, respite, and dementia care, Barton Manor provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for all its residents.

The care home opened in September 2023 and has luxurious finishing touches, welcoming social spaces, attractive décor and landscaped gardens. Barton Manor has excellent transport links and is only one mile from Wisbech town centre and all the amenities on offer.
