Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.  We have learned a lot during Covid-19 and have got our action plan in place in case of another pandemic.

We also have infection control champions who can visit clients at home and provide advice regarding infection prevention and control and we also provide leaflets that can be placed in client's houses such as in kitchens and bathrooms to ensure good handwashing techniques are applied.  We provide this advice and posters for free and it is provided on an as-required basis.

We also support our clients to attend appointments such as GP or Covid-19 vaccine boosters.
