Karen brings over 30 years of experience in the care sector, having started as a care assistant before transitioning into management roles over the last 20 years. She has successfully managed residential and nursing homes, led turnaround projects, and overseen commissioning. Karen is particularly passionate about dementia care and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with the condition.
Karen leads her team with kindness and compassion, prioritising both their well-being and that of the residents. She holds various qualifications in management and dementia care, enabling her to provide strong leadership and foster a nurturing, supportive environment.

All activities are of course optional, but we do encourage our residents to be involved to increase their social interaction, mental stimulation and, most importantly, their enjoyment. Activities take place in groups, small task groups or one-to-one. Our dedicated Lifestyles Coordinator is an integral member of our team. They ensure monthly meetings are held with our residents to ensure that activities reflect their interests and choices. |
