Meet The Manager

Audrene Abrigo is General Manager at Cadbury Hall Care Home.

You’ll find Cadbury Hall Care Home on the village high street of Yatton, and just a short drive from Bristol city. Our Care team offer excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focus on the individual needs of each resident.

We run a busy activities programme so that our residents can get the most out of every day, including visits from entertainers, pantos, and choirs. We regularly have the local schools come along and visit our residents, which always puts a smile on their faces. Residents at Cadbury Hall have a choice of television lounges and quiet rooms, all perfect places to welcome friends and relatives. In the warmer months people also enjoy our secure and well maintained gardens with their ample seating. We have good connections with the local churches, schools and Cadbury garden centre who visit regularly.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Our Building and Facilities

Our unique care options are designed to offer residents an excellent, person-centred experience at our home. Staff are always happy to offer helpful advice if you’re ever unsure of anything and are trained to provide a range of different services to those we support. Our home is equipped with a number of facilities and features that ultimately serve to increase the well-being of everyone living here.

We are now using handheld digital technology called 'Enable' internally to develop, update and manage our care and life enrichment documentation for residents. We work with one of the UK’s major digital care home documentation providers and have a bespoke platform to manage documentation digitally which aligns with our wish to deliver the highest quality individual care and life enrichment. You will see our team members using hand-held devices as the care plans and life enrichment preferences will be accessed via the device on an App. This will mean that it may look like our teams are using their mobile telephones, rest assured this is not the case and all technology used in the home is there to support our residents and relatives. There are so many benefits in moving to using digital technology to care for our residents, and for the staff working at the home including improving communication and collaboration between teams, increasing accuracy of care intervention recording and becoming more environmentally friendly.
