My name is Gemma Storey and I am the Home Manager here at Chapel View Care Home. I have worked in the care sector for the past 23 years, and I have been the Home Manager at Chapel View since October 2022.
Gemma works closely with her team and likes to know that everyone who lives at Chapel View has a happy, enjoyable and sociable life.

Chapel View is located near to Barnsley in the village of Mapplewell, with local shops and amenities and with good transport links into the surrounding towns.
Chapel View specialises in residential care for elderly residents with a wide range of needs, including dementia support and short term respite care.
The home has been designed with personalised care in mind.
With tastefully decorated bedrooms. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with pictures, trinkets and ornaments.
Residents at Chapel View can relax and socialise in the lounges provided. Delicious meals are served with daily menu choices available. Special diets can be catered for.
Activities play a vital part in the day to day running of the home, and in addition to singers and entertainers being provided, the home also has various day to day activities provided by our own in-house activity coordinator.
