Alana Corr is Home Manager at Cuttlebrook Hall.
I joined Care UK in May 2021 because I love their passion for residents and the training and support staff are provided. I have management experience in both residential and nursing homes.
As a manager you need to be caring, have a great amount of patience and resilience to any obstacles that come up. It is important to have good communication with your team and show compassion to the people we provide care for.
My favourite part of each day is in the afternoon when everyone is calm and relaxed and I can take time to chat to residents and ask about their day.
