Activities Are So Important |
---|
In the warmer weather we love to sit in the gardens for fish and chip suppers, served in newspaper like the good old days. Also popular are our afternoon tea events, where our chef bakes cakes and scones served with jam and clotted cream. Another popular area our residents enjoy is the ‘Coulby Newham’ bar – not something you might expect to find in a care home in Middlesbrough! Our residents can enjoy a tipple of whatever takes their fancy, while playing games and enjoying a good natter. The room has also been used to celebrate private events with friends and family, such as birthdays and anniversaries, for which there’s always a home-baked cake to mark the occasion. |
