Dean Wood Manor offers care to 50 adults, and the home has moved forward in leaps and bounds, since the committee of Wigan and Leigh Hospice gave Dean Wood Manor their 'Most Improved Care Home' award in 2019.

Dean Wood Manor is a grade 2 listed building, set in the most beautiful of woodland grounds. Able to care for 50 residents, the home is staffed by an experienced team of nurses and carers who have a big heart for nursing people living with dementia and other mental health conditions. Our courtyard garden was designed with our residents in mind. Safe and secure, it offers a very pleasant place to sit and socialise. Residents can enjoy time in the gardens, and you will often find us planting flowers, herbs and vegetables in our raised beds. |
