Meet The Manager

Leon Nyariri is General Manager at Elm View Care Home.

I have worked for Quantum Care for many years starting as a Carer in 2003 and working my way up to Home Manager position.  All I wanted from a young age was to look after people.  I have undertaken various training in Management and Leadership which has given me the knowledge and direction to be effective in my job role.

I believe that people should be cared for in a holistic way taking into account what makes them who they are.  I take pride in championing others to be the best they can be in their job role.  It is important to me that I develop meaningful relationships with residents, staff, relatives and other stakeholders to facilitate working in partnership to benefit everyone involved with the home, mainly the residents.

I see myself as an advocate for the residents making sure that they receive the best care possible, especially those who can no longer communicate their needs or those living with dementia.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Independent Assessments We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control.
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
