McCarthy & Stone Management Services (MSMS) are responsible for looking after our Lifestyle Living and Retirement Living developments, the grounds and services that together make up your new home.

MSMS provide and maintain the emergency-call system, intruder alarm and door camera entry. They also take care of gardening and general upkeep of the outside of the development and all shared areas.

In our Retirement Living schemes, these services include a friendly House Manager, on hand during office hours in the week (which may vary), to take care of the day-to-day running of the development. They can also arrange social events, and our residents choose whether or not to get involved with these.

Many developments have bistro-restaurants. Ideal for when you don’t feel like cooking or want to catch up with friends. Most developments also have a Guest Suite* with en-suite facilities. So, if making up the spare bed feels like a chore, you can simply book the suite for your guests instead. As a McCarthy Stone homeowner, you’re also welcome to book a Guest Suite at any of our developments around the UK.

All residents of our retirement properties in Bridport still own their apartments, too. So you don’t feel like you’re sacrificing anything by downsizing. However, while maintaining your independence, you’ll also be provided with peace of mind. Our Bridport development includes a 24/7 emergency call system and an on-site House Manager during office hours, so help is always on hand, should it be required.
