Stacey Lewis is Home Manager at Highwood Care Home.
Stacey brings a wealth of experience to Highwood Care Home. Having worked in elderly care for 14 years she began her career as a care assistant. Stacey developed her career within different organisations and within various roles and has been lucky enough to spend 5 years of her career in commissioning services.
She has a passion for residents living fulfilled lives and ensuring that her colleagues are delivering exceptional person centred care.
The best part of her day is walking around and seeing residents and colleagues happy and you will often see her participating in a wellbeing activity or two! She is positive that at Highwood, you will hear laughter daily as we work together to achieve 'Outstanding' and to become the home of choice across North Devon and beyond.

Highwood Care Home is a brand new, purpose-built care home nestled in the beautiful and historic port town of Bideford in North Devon. Our luxury home has stunning views towards River Torridge and offers high standards of accommodation for up to 67 residents as well as outstanding levels of Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care, and Respite Care.
Our warm and welcoming home includes a number of first-class facilities including a terrace, café, cinema, hairdressers, and more.
Highwood Care Home is split across three floors and each floor offers a variety of ensuite bedrooms with many having direct access to a grass courtyard. Each floor also offers a large corner suite with stunning views toward the River Torridge and Torridge Valley.
We look forward to providing comprehensive care that covers medical and wellbeing needs as well as a rich and fulfilled lifestyle thanks to our exceptional facilities.

Fine DiningOur expert team of Chefs and kitchen staff will prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals, using local produce where possible and taking into consideration all preferences, dietary requirements, as well as including residents’ favourite dishes on a regular basis. Our home also features a private dining room, which is ideal for spending quality time with loved ones and celebrating special occasions. Private GardenOur beautiful landscaped garden include raised planters, as well as a safe pathway for residents to enjoy a leisurely stroll. Residents who are green-fingered or appreciate being at one with nature have the opportunity to participate in gardening, and during the warmer months, have the option to dine and socialise outside. Cinema RoomSitting in a comfortable chair whilst enjoying a favourite genre of film, whether with a loved one or fellow resident can bring multiples benefits to overall mental health as well as memory and concentration.
