Helen Blundell is Care Home Manager at Holly Grange House Care Home.
Helen is a Registered General Nurse with a career spanning over 35 years. She started in operating theatres and worked her way to hospital management. She achieved a BA in Adult Education in 2007 and an MA in Leading Change in 2017, so has a passion for education and encouraging staff progression.
She moved to the social care industry, having nursed a relative with vascular dementia, managing nursing homes in the West Midlands.
Helen is really excited to be leading Holly Grange House as this is a wonderful opportunity for all of the team to provide excellent care in an amazing environment. Helen is married and has a young granddaughter who is the pride and joy of the family. Helen loves knitting (she knits premature baby hats for the local hospitals) and many types of music, so will look forward to having a home filled with singing and laughter.
Welcome to Holly Grange House, our prestigious care home in a serene location near Coventry, just a 30-minute drive away. Opened to welcome residents in September 2024, we are dedicated to delivering premium residential, dementia, and respite care around the clock. Located conveniently close to major transport links, Holly Grange House is perfectly positioned for easy accessibility. Our home is designed with a commitment to creating a friendly and welcoming environment that meets the individual needs of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and at home.

There are a selection of lounge spaces and dining rooms on each floor, allowing everyone freedom of choice and the independence to move around the building as they please. Our cinema room is great for catching up on favourite programmes or just relaxing with a film. The room is multi-purpose and can easily be converted to a games room or other communal use. We can also arrange to set up a screen for Skype calls with loved ones. Our gardens are landscaped and designed to be accessible for all, with flat, even surfaces and raised beds to promote independence and provide somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. Our garden areas have been thoughtfully planned to encourage everyone to enjoy the outdoors. |
