Holly Galler is Registered Manager at Horizons Homecare - Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre.
Horizons Homecare started long ago as a dream to provide a fully personalised service that paves the way for truly high-quality care. We saw the traditional style of care at home services that unfortunately, just didn't seem to work with our own loved ones and family members. We knew there had to be a better way. It is a promise that we will always lead with our values of Kindness, Continuity, Family & Punctuality.
- Kindness: We only employ truly kind people, because you can teach the skills required to be a great care professional, but you can't teach someone to be kind.
- Continuity: Our clients will always see the same carers because you will always have your very own dedicated care teams.
- Family: We treat everyone as though they were our own family members.
- Punctuality: Everything we do is scheduled, meaning we arrive on time to you and your loved ones.
At Horizons Homecare, our ultimate goal is to enrich your lives in the comfort and familiarity of your own home and to help you stay independent for as long as possible, without the daunting thought of moving into a care home. Our promise is to make sure all of our clients receive the same carers and really enhance that continuity aspect of high-quality care along with a promise to schedule your care appointments so that you always know who is coming, and the times they will arrive.
We have seen far too many people be under-cared for and for far too long we have had to accept minimal levels of care for our loved ones. We started Horizons Homecare on the foundations of the social care failures we have experienced first hand, time and time again.
It is time for change. It is time for improvements and we aim to be the leader.

Activities Are So Important |
---|
Supporting elderly individuals with trips and outings, such as visits to cafes, garden centres, and other recreational spots, plays a crucial role in enhancing their overall well-being. These outings provide seniors with the opportunity to socialise, engage with their community, and experience a change of scenery, which can significantly boost their mental and emotional health. Homecare services, in this context, are invaluable. They offer tailored assistance to those with care requirements, ensuring that they can safely and comfortably participate in these outings. Whether it's providing transportation, assisting with mobility, or simply offering companionship, homecare professionals ensure that the elderly can enjoy these excursions without any hindrance. By facilitating such experiences, homecare services not only address the physical needs of the elderly but also contribute to their social and emotional enrichment, fostering a sense of independence and joy in their lives. |
