Amy Weston is Manager at Kilburn Care Centre.
Kilburn Care Home is located in the village of Kilburn, near Belper in the Amber Valley borough in Derbyshire. We are a specially designed modern care centre with 47 rooms offering Residential and Nursing Care, but also 24-hour Residential Dementia Care, Nursing Dementia care and Respite care in a safe and secure environment.
Our home is bright and modern, with rooms for communal activities or quiet pastimes and we like to make space for family members to come along and join in or share some private time. Our patio is popular on a sunny day, and there are convenient raised planters for trying a bit of easy gardening.
Our kind and dedicated team is at the heart of our care at Kilburn: we like to relate to each residents’ viewpoint and help them to make the life that is most fulfilling for them.

Kilburn Care Home is here to ensure that there is the opportunity for you or your loved one to continue to live a life of fulfilment and independence through our activities programme. We love to celebrate an occasion, have a singalong with our musical entertainment or have a special visit from our therapy pets, especially our Home Manager’s dog, Henrick! You’ll find arts and crafts, gentle exercise and a range of therapies to bring a smile to each day. As much as we love our Home, we like to get out and about with a few excursions too. |
