Neighbouring the prestigious Hurlingham Club along the eastern side of Hurlingham Park, KYN Hurlingham is a Grade II listed building, sympathetically restored to its former glory as a landmark building within the local area.

Originally built as a ‘Ragged School’ in 1855, the building has previously served as a school and youth club, and now as a KYN care home in Fulham, the existing heritage and fabric is retained and enhanced, while modernisation and an extension to the rear regenerate the site.

Our Building and Facilities

The Great Room is much more than just a social space; it is the very essence of our homes. Designed to foster feelings of warmth, tranquillity, and comfort, thanks to its inviting fire, intricate stonework, original beams, bespoke artwork and elegant tapestry that adorn the walls. It is a space that residents take immense pride in and a place where special moments are shared. It's the perfect spot for residents and their guests to come together and enjoy a pre-dinner drink from our marble-topped bar or catch up with friends old and new. It's also the primary location for cultural events, group activities, and celebrations.

Our library is a haven for book lovers and is stocked with an array of interesting and unusual books. To supply our shelves with the best literary works, we have partnered with Heywood Hill, one of London's leading bookshops and book curators to Her Late Majesty The Queen.
