Ian joins Lark View as the Home Manager and brings a wealth of experience having worked in residential and nursing homes for over 30 years. Ian is passionate about supporting, enthusing and motivating residents to reach their full potential and leading a highly motivated staff team.
Ian invests in his personal development and has gained qualifications of Institute of Group Analysis Working Psycho Dynamically in a Residential Setting, NVQ Leadership and Management, Health & Safety Level 3 CIEH and Train the Trainer in Dementia Care to ensure that Lark View is the luxury care home of choice in the Canterbury area.
At Lark View Care Home, we work hard to provide a welcoming and comfortable setting that feels like a home-away-from-home for each and every one of our residents. To make sure our residents are content and able to fully appreciate each day, our team will go above and beyond and curate an environment that satisfies all of their medical and wellbeing needs.
Lark View Care Home is a purpose-built care home located in the beautiful and historic city of Canterbury, Kent. Our care home is a private facility that provides superior Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite Care within an elegant home that boasts first-class facilities.
Our home has been built with the intention of providing a fulfilled lifestyle for our residents, with a strong emphasis on group living to build new connections with like-minded people. Our objective is to provide a loving and supportive setting in which everyone can thrive. All of our sessions are accessible and tailored to the interests of our residents, with the purpose of motivating and inspiring everyone who participates in them, ready to take on a new creative task when the opportunity arises. We have an outstanding team of committed Activities Coordinators at Lark View Care Home who are ready to provide new and exciting activities for all of our residents. Each month, residents are presented with a programme that is full of activities that are suited to all ages and abilities, from social events such as quizzes and games to sing-a-longs and visits to local attractions in and around Canterbury. |
