Activities Are So Important

At Marina View, we believe that every day should be fulfilling, meaningful, and enjoyable. Our person-centred activity programme is designed around the individual interests, abilities, and well-being of our residents, ensuring there is always something to look forward to.

From arts and crafts, music sessions, and gardening to gentle exercise, reminiscence activities, and games, we encourage residents to continue the hobbies they love while also exploring new interests at their own pace. Live entertainment, themed events, and visiting performers bring variety and excitement, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for all to enjoy.

For those who love to explore, we organise regular outings in our minibus to visit local attractions, scenic spots, and community events, helping residents stay connected to the wider world. Whether it’s a trip to a nearby café, garden centre, or place of personal significance, these experiences bring joy, independence, and social connection.

Our dedicated well-being team takes the time to understand each resident’s unique preferences, ensuring that activities are tailored to their needs and aspirations. Whether enjoying a group activity in the cinema room or games lounge, a quiet moment in the vintage tea room, or a one-to-one session focused on personal interests, every resident is supported to live life their way at Marina View.
