Melton is situated close to many amenities including a large Tesco and a Medical Centre in Westbourne. Whether you require a hairdresser or a chiropodist, there are a few that visit the Court on a regular basis, and a prescription delivery service is also available.

Melton Court have staff who can help should you ever need to put together a care plan. They know the local specialists well, so can also help you to identify the most suitable, qualified people to care for you.

With a team of dedicated Court and Duty Managers, we ensure that someone is on duty on site 24 hours a day 365 days a year.  If ever you need to pull the emergency call cord or use the intercom within your own apartment, you are able speak to someone in the building whom you know, who understands your needs and can be with you in moments.

There is no obligation or pressure to get involved in any activities. A significant proportion of owners say they like living somewhere where there is plenty of social activity going on, whilst being able to keep themselves to themselves.

Melton Court has both a communal lounge and a dining room that are the hub of many of its social activities.

Coffee and tea are served on a daily basis together with weekly events from whist to keep fit.

Nicki, the Court Manager will be able to provide a copy of the monthly social programme.  Owners can enjoy activities such as board games, card games, art and craft.

All of the rooms provide spaces where local clubs and societies of which Owners are members can meet.

If you’re looking for a thriving retirement village in Dorset, look no further than Melton Court. The Owners’ Social Committee put on a broad range of social events, both within the Court and further afield, and you have the freedom to be as involved as you’d like.

Melton Court has its own landscaped communal gardens complete with shrubs, planters and pathways located around the grounds. These are maintained by a gardener who will work with those owners who are more “green thumbed” and wish to be involved.

Melton Court has its own communal restaurant/dining room that provides lunchtime meals at cost every day.  Meals will be taken on a tray to anyone who has requested one.  Guests are always welcome and any special dietary requirements are catered for.  Evening meals and themed dinners are regularly held at the Court and light suppers can be arranged if requested.

A guest suite is available for rent for those owners who wish to invite family and friends to visit and stay at the court with them for a short period.
