Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Wireless Internet access (WiFi)

Our care home has WiFi in some of our residents’ rooms.

Mobile Phone Network Coverage (mobile “signal”)

Our care home has mobile phone signal in some of our residents’ rooms.

Telephone for external calling

No, our care home does not provide a telephone in residents’ rooms.

Social media provides an up to date window on the activities within a provider's setting.

With the restrictions on visiting during the pandemic, social media platforms such as these offer real insight when you are choosing a provider.

Our Building and Facilities

One of the outstanding features of our home is the resident 'dining experience'. Following all best practice for hydration and nutrition for those living with dementia, residents enjoy every meal time at a standard, 'second to none'. The menu, table setting, service and refreshments support every resident to eat and drink well, at their leisure.

The home boasts large lounges and dining room, as well as a quiet 'Namaste' room. Namaste dementia care is specifically for those experiencing the later stages of dementia. This model of dementia care is very much seen as best practice within the care sector.
