Paula Yorkston-Toy is Registered Care Home Manager at Montague House Care Home.
Paula brings a wealth of expertise to her role, with extensive experience as both a nurse and in leadership positions within the care sector. Her dedication to delivering exceptional care and fostering a nurturing environment is at the heart of her work. Paula holds a degree in Adult Health Nursing from Edinburgh Napier University and is also a proud Military Veteran, having served in the Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service. Her commitment to excellence has earned her significant recognition in the industry; she was shortlisted in the Front Line Leader category at the Great British Care Awards in 2019 and was further acknowledged in the Registered Manager category at the same prestigious awards in 2020.
With her blend of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep passion for person-centred care, Paula ensures that Montague House provides a warm, supportive, and high-quality environment for both residents and staff.

There will be plenty going on in our vibrant, happy home. At Montague House Care Home, we are passionate about building strong links in the local community and will always work hard to make sure there's a varied and colourful programme of events. Like all Hamberley care homes, when restrictions allow, we like to work with nurseries, schools and other local community hubs to encourage intergenerational socialising. We're always eager to host seasonal events such as Christmas parties and Summer Fairs, and regularly hold a number of informational virtual events for the local community. |
