Activities Are So Important |
---|
Muirton House employs 2 activity coordinators who arrange a diverse range of activities within the home or on outings using our own mini bus. Visits to local hotels for coffee or a Christmas dinner are popular with residents who can be joined by family members. We have worked closely with youth groups and nursery children to promote intergenerational activities which appears to benefit young and old alike. Residents are supported to be independent, make choices and live life to the fullest. Friends and families work closely with staff to provide the best possible care for our residents. Many say they feel part of the home and visit regularly. They take part in activities within the home, enjoy coffee or a meal with their family member and are listened to if they have any concerns. Close to Perth, Pitlochry, Dundee and Dunkeld we make good use of ourr minibus for trips out shopping or having coffee in town. Activities include domino nights, entertainment, baking group, craft club and music and movement group. |
