Meet The Manager

Lucy Atkinson is Registered Manager at New Lodge.

New Lodge care home is a purpose-built registered care facility. The home sits within the New Lodge community, which also includes a group of apartments for the over 55s. We’re located in New Earswick, an Edwardian garden village near York’s historic city centre. New Earswick is also home to the popular Folk Hall, which serves as the hub of the community.

Description

New Lodge has 45 individual care suites, each with lift access and overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens.

Suites are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of space and useful storage. Each suite has a level-access wet room and is fitted with a dedicated emergency call care system, giving residents immediate access to the care team.

Our rooms and facilities are all wheelchair accessible, and can easily be adapted with accessibility aids for ease of living.

Activities Are So Important

We encourage our residents to enjoy their hobbies and to try new activities. Our programme of activities and events are lead by Activity Co-ordinator Baz Larner and his team of volunteers, with the support of care home staff in bringing laughter and creativity to the residence.
