Sue Mackle is Home Manager at Norwood Care Home.
I am proud to be part of a dedicated, compassionate and caring team who deliver care to our residents in a person-centred manner. Norwood is a homely home with love, laughter and fun threaded through each and every day.
It is a pleasure and privilege to come to work each day knowing we are making a positive difference to our residents day.
Welcome to Norwood Nursing Care Home in historic Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, where our team provides person-centred care for Residents in a warm and friendly environment. Our elegant Home where we provide high-quality nursing and dementia care is set in pretty landscaped gardens in what has been called one of the best places to live in Scotland.
With 54 bedrooms, communal spaces for socialising and a cinema room where Residents can watch classic films on a weekend afternoon together, Norwood Care Home in Barrhead is the perfect place to enjoy life’s later years. Residents are encouraged to join a busy activity programme which is varied and provides both mental and physical stimulation. It’s also a super chance to make friends and try out new pastimes within a safe and welcoming community.

At Norwood Care Home in Barrhead we offer a busy programme of activities encouraging Residents to inject their own personality into the events and classes on offer. Whether it is gardening, embroidery, or sculpture it’s never too late to learn a new skill. Currently, our most popular activities include bingo, quiz nights, karaoke and arts & crafts. |
