Gill Williams is Manager at Priesty Fields.
Priesty Fields is a stunning new care home located in the heart of Congleton, Cheshire. The home - which boasts 78 beds - takes its name from the expansive green space situated at the south of the market town. Congleton is nestled in the valley of the River Dane in the Peak District, perfectly placed for the sweeping landscape views and inviting countryside walks.
The quaint, bustling market town is steeped in a long, rich history, captured in the frame of some impressive buildings, such as the gothic Victorian Town Hall which stands proudly in the centre.
Priesty Fields is within walking distance of many attractions but is also home to an array of amenities itself.
The in-house gastro-pub, named Ye Olde Moreton (after the local landmark Little Moreton Hall) serves a selection of locally brewed beer and has its own pub garden for residents to enjoy.
The home also has a spa for residents to relax and unwind in, where they can treat themselves to a massage or a manicure, or they could visit the in-house hairdressers for a fresh trim.
Priesty Fields also has an in-house cinema, cafe, launderette, a gym and a corner shop where residents can busy themselves with day-to-day activities.
Within the rooms at Priesty Fields, you’ll find neutral, modern decor and large windows to allow plenty of natural light. In the communal spaces, you’ll find plants and biophilic living walls. This is all designed to help bring a sense of the outdoors in, and create a natural, serene environment that boosts health and happiness.
Priesty Fields has a catalogue of health care professionals on hand at all times to ensure the utmost safety and wellbeing of each resident. The team uses leading care technology, such as an acoustic monitoring nurse call system, to enable accurate and efficient care. The use of technology within the home means accurate information can be shared with GPs and pharmacies quickly, to enhance the level of care each resident receives.

Our Building and Facilities |
---|
An interactive community hub, our home features biophilic ‘living’ walls, natural wood, stone and glass to offer a wide variety of textures and support our holistic approach to care. Our commitment to sustainability also prompted our decision to include a heat recovery system, as well as environmentally friendly lighting to support natural sunlight. Our entrance very much mirrors Congleton’s aesthetic; visitors are greeted with Congleton redbrick as part of the building’s structure, a cafe, bakery and farmer’s market to offer a sense of familiarity and community. Aesthetically pleasing sights, sounds and smells combine to create an all-encompassing sensory experience. Combined with warm colour palettes and plush furnishings, we’re looking forward to offering residents and their families a home-from-home. |
