Karen Harrison is Care Home Manager at Rossendale House.
Karen brings over 15 years of experience in the care sector. Her passion lies in delivering the highest standards of care, particularly for residents requiring dementia care. Karen's journey began as a care assistant, and she has since supported staff with specialist dementia training before returning to the care home environment as a reminiscence coordinator. Her commitment to fostering meaningful connections and providing person-centered care eventually led her to her current role as a home manager.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her close-knit family, which includes her four children, five grandchildren, and their beloved dachshund, Penny. Karen and her family love to travel, often camping together in Holland.
Rossendale House luxury residential care home in Burnley, Lancashire, will open in February 2023 and will provide 24-hour residential, respite and dementia care, within a newly built, state-of-the-art home, where residents stay for one inclusive fee.
