What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Wireless Internet access (WiFi)

Yes, our care home has WiFi in all our resident’s rooms.

Mobile Phone Network Coverage (mobile “signal”)

Yes, our care home has mobile phone signal in all our resident’s rooms.

Telephone for external calling

Yes, our care home provides a telephone in all our resident’s rooms.

Social media provides an up to date window on the activities within a provider's setting.

With the restrictions on visiting during the pandemic, social media platforms such as these offer real insight when you are choosing a provider.

Fine Dining

We understand that dining is an important factor in many of our resident’s lives, and it is vital to make sure all nutrients are prioritised, as well as requirements and preferences. At Rowan Park Care Home, we offer 3 delicious and nourishing meals a day as well as regular refreshments, and occasional afternoon teas, barbecues, and themed meals. We have a beautiful dining room where residents can enjoy their meals together or a private dining area for special occasions with loved ones.

Outdoor Terrace

Sometimes there is nothing better than enjoying the fresh air either alone, with other residents or with loved ones. Our wonderful terrace is equipped with planting areas for the green-fingered individuals and a range of seating areas for those who would rather relax. In the summer, we also use our furniture to encourage al fresco dining for residents that wish to enjoy their meals outside. Our terrace has sweeping views of idyllic countryside and is a brilliant place to catch up with friends or family members which is encouraged throughout Rowan Park.

Hair Salon & Nail Bar

The hair salon & nail bar at Rowan Park is the perfect place for residents to enjoy pampering from when they need it the most. Residents can come here whenever they need a confidence boost or when they would like to relax and have their hair and nail needs taken care of. Our salon team are on hand to provide the best quality services to residents, no matter the request.

Cinema Room

Our cinema room is equipped with the perfect themed decor, chairs that ensure maximum comfort and a big screen to get lost in. Our activities coordinators ensure that a range of films and cinema-related snacks and refreshments are always available. Residents can use this area to enjoy a wonderful cinematic experience for a few hours with other residents, or with loved ones on special occasions. No matter what film our residents want, we have something for everybody at Rowan Park Care Home.

Library

Everybody needs some quiet relaxation time every now and again and our library is a brilliant way to experience this. Residents can put their feet up and get lost in a good book, or even just relax in a comfortable seat with a cup of tea. We offer a wide range of books at Rowan Park for those looking to enjoy some comfortable and quiet alone time, without returning to their bedroom.

There is always something for residents to get involved in, and they are encouraged by our team to take part and enjoy the benefits it brings on a regular basis.
