What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

In line with recent Scottish Government guidance effective from September 2022, care homes in Scotland no longer require face masks to be worn during visits due to high vaccination rates and other mitigations against COVID-19 in the social care sector and LFD testing is no longer necessary. Face masks will continue to be provided at the home should it be your preference to continue to wear one and staff will support the preferences of our residents who wish for our staff to wear face masks whilst providing them with care.

Activities Are So Important

At Rubislaw Park, we believe that playing games, taking part in sports and participating in recreational activities are so important when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Our Activity Coordinators love creating new and exciting activities for all of our residents to take part in, offering plenty of variety and choice for 1:1 and group activities.

In fact, lots of our activities and games are created with our residents, to ensure we’re giving them exactly the kind of outlet they’re looking for. Staying active is key to staying healthy, no matter how old you are.
