Activities Are So Important

Our nursing homes have Wellbeing and Activities coordinators to encourage and facilitate residents to choose daily activities which have the simple objective to encourage social interaction and stimulation. These activities are designed as to improve the variety in residents' daily lives, introduce new skills and enable residents to discover new passions.

All of Country Court Care's homes have developed very strong ties with their local community. We always encourage local people to attend events at the homes, as well as encouraging residents to join in the fun.

Part of our mission to provide a positive and independent space is a focus on providing residents with engaging activities to take part in. At Ruby Lodge, we offer a lively programme of events and occasions, with a dedicated Activities and Well-Being Coordinator on hand to support residents and help them continue practising their hobbies or interests. These hobbies can vary, from gardening and baking to arts and crafts or singing, there is always something going on for everyone to enjoy.
