Our Home Manager is Becky Green, she is a caring and dedicate Home Manager with many years of experience in the care sector. She is passionate about promoting individual choice for residents, allowing people to feel empowered. She operates an open-door policy and welcomes families to pop in and see her for a chat at any time.

Our new care home in Charlton Down near Dorchester provides a warm welcome as soon as you set foot through the door. Specialising in residential care, dementia care, and short-term respite care, Selwood House will be home for up to eighty-four people. The care home is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater to various care needs.

Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to facilitate a range of daily meaningful activities. There is always plenty going on from a visit to the pub, cinema or hair and beauty salon. Residents enjoy meeting friends and visitors in the bistro cafĂ©.  Selwood House will be a wonderful place to start the next chapter of life.

Our Wellbeing team get to know each resident individually and create a person-centred plan to encourage people to continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests. We take regular trips into the local community and are keen to retain our local connections and friendships.
