Laura Whitton is Manager at Silver Mews Care Home.
I have worked within the care sector for the last 14 years, starting as a care assistant then moving on to a senior position. I became a Deputy Manager and completed my level 5 in leadership and management.
I have now taken the position of Manager at Silver Mews care home and have a passion in my work. I aim to ensure that the residents in the care home are well cared for and have a homely feel in their stay.
I have built up a good range of knowledge working in various care homes, the hospital and working with different care needs.
I am a mother of three and have a grandson, I enjoy family time, trips away and holidays in the sun.
Silver Mews is a newly refurbished 41-bed residential care home situated within the centre of Redcar – a beautiful seaside town in Teesside with a fantastic community, friendly neighbourhood and tranquil atmosphere.
