Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. Our aim is for you to be happy and feel comfortable in your new home. We would encourage you to bring in your mementos as they really help to make your room look like a home from home. The rooms are already fully furnished but are spacious, so there’s plenty of room to accommodate your favourite armchair or chest of drawers. We do provide all the bed linen and towels, but please bring your own if you’d prefer. All we ask is that, in the interests of your health and safety, that any items you bring into the care home are safe, fit for purpose, nor a fire risk. |

Activities Are So Important |
---|
Moving into a care home is a great opportunity to make new friends and enjoy socialising more. Whilst our well-being manager runs a varied calendar of events and activities each day, we understand that you may still want to continue with an interest or try something new that you’ve been meaning to do for years. That is no problem. Do share your wants and wishes and we’ll do all we can to make it happen when you move in. |

Our Pets |

We understand that moving home can be an emotional time and animals can often provide comfort and familiarity. St George's Nursing Home is a pet-friendly home and pets are allowed to visit, however they are not allowed to stay as this would have an impact on our staff’s time and on the hygiene of the home. |
