Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Our Care Home Teams have worked diligently since the start of the pandemic to keep everyone free from infection. At the same time we have worked hard to enable visiting whilst adhering to official prescribed restrictions.

The Company has followed, adhered to, and at times added to official government guidance, as well as guidelines from various Health Protection Departments, and we have updated the information on our website accordingly.

Our principle objective has been to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, residents and our visitors, and to reduce the occurrence of Covid within our Homes. We have recently been able to significantly reduce a number of restrictions in relation to visiting, but we remain vigilant and fully understand that Covid remains a risk, particularly to those with underlying physical conditions.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
