I have been with Barchester for many years at a sister home and I am excited to take the reins at the beautiful Tewkesbury Fields. The team here is fantastic and we have an active social calendar full of events and outings.

Alongside our brilliant life enrichment programme we are also rightly proud of the wonderful care provided by our hard working care team.

Edrianne Jedidia Baluyut

Tewkesbury Fields is a recently refurbished luxury care home in a tranquil Gloucestershire village setting, and provides the comforts of home with 24-hour residential support for older people, as well as dementia care.

The home is warm and friendly, providing a comfortable and relaxed way of life for our residents.  We are committed to treating the people we support with respect and dignity and we provide the highest standards of care based on personalised care plans. Nothing is too much trouble for our team, many of whom have been with us over 10 years.

Residents can enjoy a varied programme of activities and social engagement. Our dedicated activities coordinator organises clubs, events and daily activities including arts and crafts, baking, gardening, and quizzes, barbecues, themed cookery nights, visits from entertainers and regular trips out - to name but a few.

Meals are prepared on-site by trained chefs, who offer residents a varied daily menu of tasty, nutritious food. Special dietary requirements and personal preferences are always taking into consideration.

Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust we build with family, friends and residents living in this community.

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
