Claire Erskine is Manager at The Manor House Roundhay.
I am very excited to introduce myself as the Home Manager of The Manor House Roundhay. I have a strong background in health and social care; I am a qualified nurse and have a BSc Honours in Health and Social Care.
Throughout my degree, I took a particular interest in supporting older people in a care setting, and I have a special interest and knowledge base around dementia care. I have had several roles in care settings and have been a registered manager for 8 years.
The people who choose to live here will always be my priority; I have a passion for celebrating individuality and understanding personal journeys through life story work.
I am extremely family-orientated and am committed to looking after people in my care the way I’d expect my loved ones to be supported.
The Manor House Roundhay is our luxurious new care home in Leeds offering first-class residential and dementia care in a beautiful setting close to Roundhay Park. We're welcoming new residents and accepting reservations for both permanent care and shorter stays. We can also support couples for care in our home.
The Manor House Roundhay provides high quality care in lovely surroundings. Our facilities include a café/ bar, hair and beauty salon and activity areas. We benefit from private gardens which include a greenhouse and areas for our residents to garden. We benefit from lovely reviews across Roundhay Park and we are close to local amenities, including cafes, shops and places to eat.
Our mostly local team have not only been recruited for their passion for care but also for their warm personal qualities.
Our residential care provides peace of mind that all the support you could need is on hand within your luxurious new home. If you need a short-term stay, we offer flexible respite care. We are proud of our high-quality care and support for residents living with dementia, reflecting best practices and learning, and also offer convalescence care to help you recover after a hospital stay.
