Meet The Manager

Lianne Sturmey is Manager at The Maples.

Lianne started her career in the care sector as an assistant over 25 years ago. Throughout her career she has worked hard to rise through the ranks, gaining the necessary qualifications, to advance first to Senior Care Assistant, then Deputy Manager and finally becoming Manager of her first home.


Lianne has been committed to improving the lives of both people in her care and the team she has worked alongside. She has an unflinching passion for providing quality, person-centred care and an approach and attitude that is totally in-step with Bracebridge Care’s own philosophy.


Bracebridge Care Group is therefore delighted to welcome her on board as Home Manager of The Maples.

The Maples care home in Telford has 70 bedrooms situated over three floors and has been designed to complement the community around it. It offers a range of amenities such as hairdressing, activities area, communal lounges and associated parking.

Inside, careful attention to interior design helps you move easily through the building, with excellent wayfinding, interesting spaces to enjoy, and a tasteful, homely feel. All this is aesthetically pleasing and creates a strong sense of belonging.


If you live with Dementia or a disability, you can confidently make your way through The Maples in an environment that has been designed to be as stimulating as it is safe.


And rest assured, you will be always supported. Our exceptional team carefully chosen for their emotional intelligence and heart, will be on hand at all times should you need them.
