Lisa Butt is Registered Manager at The Willow.
Lisa is the Registered Manager and has a QCF level 5. Lisa has also completed her NVQ 2, NVQ 3 and Lead to Succeed Management training. Lisa has been with us since January 2022, this is her first registered manager role but she has many years of experience with dementia, learning disabilities, home care and residential care settings.Lisa is used to working in much larger services but The Willow appealed to her as it’s home from home and very person centred.
The Willow is a ‘home from home’ care home in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, providing care for 11 older people. We understand that choosing the right care home is vital, which is why we’ve made life at The Willow as near to home as possible.
Choosing a Care Home is not just about the person moving in, it is about their loved ones too. It is a big change for everyone and we never lose sight of that fact. We want the residents families to feel part of The Willow as well.
We focus on Person Centred Care Plans that reflect the way the individual chooses to live their lives. Our team of highly trained and experienced local staff ensure that the care plans are carried out and that each of our residents feel valued and safe.

The comfortable open-plan lounge/conservatory area is where residents can sit quietly, read or entertain friends and family or join in with the daily activities. We have an cozy fireplace and a large TV. Drinks and snacks are always available for residents and visitors to help themselves. |

The Willow offers eleven single ensuite rooms over two floors with a stair lift providing access to the upper five rooms. All rooms have 24 hour nurse call system in both the bedroom and ensuite. Telephone points are available in most rooms. We welcome residents bringing in personal possessions, small pieces of furniture to make the room their own. |

Activities Are So Important |

Our belief is that mental stimulation plays a vital part in providing our residents with a happy and healthy environment. We employ two activity leaders from Monday to Friday, one providing three full days and the other two half days. Our activities include flower arranging, games and quizzes, arts and crafts, gentle exercise to music, sing-a-longs and regular resident’s meetings. We also enjoy visits from local children who come to entertain as well as a monthly service from St Mary’s Church. |
