Stephanie Newton is Branch Manager at Valley Care Leeds/Wakefield (Live-in Care).
I have worked within social care for 20 year in a vary of different roles. I started my carer in elderly care at the age of 17. Five years later, I moved to work with young adults with learning and physical disabilities. I started as a support worker and worked my way up to become a Registered Manager. Me and my team went on to achieve an outstanding rating with CQC. I then moved back to working in elderly care in 2018 for a 69 bedded home, manging to improve the home to achieve its first ever "Good" CQC rating. I made the decision to bring my knowledge and skill into a home care service which is what brings me to Valley care direct.
My passion is to ensure each and every customers receives a person centred, quality service which is tailored to meet your individual needs.
Away from my work life, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pet Dog, Reggie, I do enjoy watching Rugby both ;rofessionally and locally.
