Darren Molyneux is Home Manager at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre.
I joined New Care in 2018 after working for 15 years in Residential care. I was previously Deputy Manager and came to New Care as a Senior Care Assistant and then I was promoted to Head of Care and in August 2023 I was successful and promoted to Deputy Manager at Grosvenor Manor in Chester, more recently I have been promoted within New Care as Home Manager at Wilmslow Manor. Where I am extremely happy and content. Person Centred Care is and always will be a passion of mine and being able to help promote independence and high quality care always leaves me smiling. New Care is an excellent company to work with and provides residents with excellent care and staff with support and the chance to develop their careers. I have recently completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.
Welcome to Wilmslow Manor Care Centre, our new care home in Cheshire, which opened in September 2022. Located in Cheshire East, 11 miles from Manchester city centre, this Wilmslow care home has 63 modern bedrooms, each with an en-suite wet room, which have been designed in line with current CQC requirements.
Residents of this stylish, luxurious care home in Cheshire will have access to communal lounges and premium facilities, including an on-site hair salon and nail bar. The care home’s restaurants are ideal social spaces, and serve a variety of menu options catering to different needs every day.

We are delighted to welcome new residents and their visitors to the home. We can facilitate in-person viewings for those looking for care options for themselves or their loved ones. Resident can now leave the home to visit family and friends. The health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Staff are always our top priorities. We have therefore put in place robust and comprehensive contingency plans to respond to the coronavirus outbreak. Our plans will be kept under regular review and updated as advised by the Public health authorities. We do not use agency staff in any of our homes. |
