Meet The Manager

Bringing her wealth of experience, and an unrivalled passion for the industry, Claire's arrival marks a new era in the Care Home’s mission to provide top-quality care for their residents while continually improving their service.

Claire has worked with an array of small to large corporate care companies, witnessing first-hand the nuances, challenges and triumphs that come with this ever-evolving sector. Her journey has shaped her into an exceptional professional, making her a highly sought-after manager in the field.

Claire is set to personally develop her team through growth and learning. She believes in harnessing collective knowledge and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of care professionals. She's a true believer in leading by example, and she's eager to bring this mindset to her role at Wombwell Hall Care Home.

Belmont Healthcare Group acquired Wombwell Hall in November 2022 from the previous owners and have plans for extensive redevelopment of the site - follow our social media pages to see more about this, the links of which can be found at the bottom of our profile page.

Positioned at Wombwell Gardens in the town of Northfleet Wombwell Hall is a 120-bed care home offering specialist residential nursing care and palliative care - the 120 beds are set out across 4 delightful houses each with 30 single bedrooms.  We have beautiful combined outside garden space within the grounds too, each house having its own separate garden, which is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, or with one of the many neighbourhood groups or volunteers who visit.

The purpose-built care home is in a quieter part of Northfleet’s urban community. Surrounded by green space and tree canopies, the home is set in a pleasant and peaceful position yet benefits from easy access to town-based amenities.

The communal areas such as the dining rooms, lounges, day rooms, conservatory, hair salon and treatment rooms - plus there are many places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative - these areas have been thoughtfully designed to enhance the daily lives of everyone who calls Wombwell Hall their home.

As part of a person-centred care delivery plan, individuals are encouraged and supported to participate in their pastimes and hobbies or embark on learning something new in a fun and inclusive environment.

Kindness is at the heart of everything the care team does at Wombwell Hall; person-centred care and wellbeing is top priority. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal, and dietary needs, but also the individual's likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and suggestions from family members.

Nursing Care for adults at Wombwell Hall - a typical age can be from around 40, but we can take younger residents depending upon individual requirements and an assessment carried out by the home.  We pride ourselves on providing a warm and loving home for our residents, and an environment which is stimulating yet peaceful and dignified.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
